Volcano boarding

Designated as a protected area, Cerro Negro (a.k.a black mountain) provides the breath taking location for our action filled volcano boarding tour. After a 40 minute drive to the base, we stand gazing at the black volcano wondering how on earth we are going to climb this ominous mountain. 45 minutes later we are at the top now wondering how on earth we are going to get down. However after some fun and games up there, running into the crater and taking in the expansive views, you quickly conquer any fear. We then have a lesson on boarding and a quick 5 meter practice run. Ok, you are ready, sitting and waiting for the final push, before you know it the adrenalin is kicking and you are flying down the side of the volcano at speeds up to 82 km/hr. Our record speed thus far is 82 km/hr.

You will spend the morning volcano boarding down the active Cerro Negro Volcano. After lunch you take a fascinating tour around the city of Leon with an experienced bi-lingual guide. Leon is the capital of the revolution and is steeped in history. On this tour you will visit all the famous sites and learn of Leon’s interesting past.

This package includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch, experienced guides, free t-shirt, free sticker, free Mojito, volcano boarding tour and a city tour.

B3 • Volcano Boarding And Surf Adventure Package

Combine your Volcano Boarding tour with a night at the beach, a two-hour surf lesson and all day board rental.

After volcano boarding we transfer you to the coast, only twenty kilometres from the centre of Leon. Enjoy a few cocktails while watching the sunset over the Pacific followed by an awesome seafood dinner. The following morning you are provided with breakfast and a two- hour surf lesson by an experienced instructor.

Feel free to spend the day at the beach and then return to Leon in our daily beach shuttle or stay another night at a discounted price.

B4 • Full Moon Volcano Boarding

Experience the magic of boarding down an active volcano by moonlight.

3 days / 2 nights

This is an epic, action packed mini adventure that takes you from the top of the active Cerro Negro volcano to the beautiful pacific coast.

Day 1	Early morning transfer from Managua to Leon in time to go Volcano Boarding. After Volcano Boarding you will have lunch followed by a fascinating tour of the City with one of our experienced bi-lingual guides. The first night will be spent getting to know one of Leon’s great restaurants and bars.
Day 2	You make your way to the beach, located only 18 kilometres from the city centre. After checking in to the hotel you will have a two- hour surf lesson, where you will learn all the basics you need to begin surfing. Once your lesson is completed you are provided with a surfboard for the rest of the day. Swim, surf, relax it is your choice. Just enjoy.
Day 3	Enjoy the morning on the beach after which you are transferred back to Managua.

B6 • Bigfoot and Spanish Immersion Adventure Package
Learn Spanish Volcano Board Surf Culture
5 days /5 nights

Immerse yourself in Nicaraguan Culture while enjoying the wealth of attractions that lay on your doorstep in and around Leon. During your five days in Leon you will live with a local family and study one on one daily with a professional teacher from Leon’s most well accredited Spanish language institution.

Day 1	Study Spanish in the morning followed by a city tour in the afternoon with an experienced bi-lingual guide.
Day 2	Study in the morning followed by a free afternoon to enjoy the city.
Day 3	Study Spanish in the morning followed by volcano boarding in the afternoon. You are then invited to watch live music in the evening.
Day 4	Spanish in the mornings – Option for dance classes in the afternoon. In the late afternoon we drive you to the beach where you will spend the night.
Day 5	Morning to surf and enjoy the beach. Early afternoon you return to Leon for your final afternoon of Spanish classes.
